It is Good Housekeeping's 125th anniversary this year, so they are revisiting wisdom from pass issues. I found this bit of information interesting in my newest issue:
"Housework is as systematic a muscle developer as can be found, and it is one of the most excellent substitutes possible for gymnastics."
Ha! David never believes me when I tell him housework and lugging full laundry baskets up and down the stairs several times a day count as exercise.
Now I have proof. If Good Housekeeping says it, then it MUST be true!
