Meatball Minestrone Soup

Our local MOPS group held a Slow cooker Meal Fundraiser in May.  For a small fee, people were given a shopping list and recipes for 15 slow cooker recipes.  Then we all gathered together and assembled them.  (For an additional fee, people could pay others to assemble their meals for them.)  This fundraiser was quite a success for us, and I had the added benefit of coming home with 15 meals for my family.
Tonight's Meatball Minestrone Soup was the runaway favorite so far.

What you will need:
1 14.5 oz. can Italian Stewed Tomatoes (I omitted.)
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 bag frozen peas and carrots
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 bag frozen green beans
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1 15 oz. can kidney beans, or legume of your choice
**The above items may be combined in a gallon-size freezer bag and frozen until ready to use.

When ready to complete the recipe, put this bagful in a slow cooker.  To it, ADD
1 bag frozen meatballs (Italian or regular)
1 10 oz. can tomato soup
2 cans beef broth

Cook on High 4-5 hours or Low 8-10 hours from frozen state.
Boil pasta, put into bowls and spoon soup over pasta.  Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
