Shower Jellies

It's DIY time! Teresa found a fun recipe on Pinterest and tried it yesterday. These shower jellies turned out much better (and useful!) than slime, which we never seem to get quite right!

Shower Jellies
1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup boiling water
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup liquid soap or shower gel
1 drop food coloring
a few drops essential oils (optional)

Carefully stir gelatin into boiling water until completely dissolved.
Add salt and mix in. Then mix in the liquid soap, food coloring, and oils for scent, if you wish.

Pour into a ice cube tray, cupcake pan, or other small mold or container.
Refrigerate for 2 hours and your shower jellies will be ready to use for your next shower!

*These will turn into liquid at room temperature, so they need to be stored in the refrigerator. It's probably a good idea to let your family know that these are NOT jigglers to eat, too. :)
