Snappy

Nathan had been looking for a turtle for a pet.  It turns out, a turtle found us!  I looked out the window on Friday and saw an upside down turtle in the grass.  Nathan went to check it out and sat it by the door.  He was so excited when it came out of its shell and started walking around. 
He and Carter made a zoo for it, but it turns out Snappy is a strong escape artist and escaped under the cover of darkness.  Nathan wasn't upset at all.  I think his favorite type of pet is one that's only around here for a day or so.
If you see a turtle with blue sidewalk chalk on its shell, you can send him back to our house . . . or tell him to keep going as fast as his little legs can go!  :o)
